Important Updates
.We are an Open and Affirming congregation, welcoming all. We like to say that our congregation includes believers, non-believers, and questioning believers, and people from multiple religious traditions. Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.

  • Sunday worship is at 10:00am.  Link here to On-line Worship. To receive the emailed bulletin, request at uccashfield@gmail.com. Our Sunday School meets during worship when we are able to meet in the sanctuary.
  • Subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter by contacting uccashfield@gmail.com.
  • Become a member of our church. Explore membership here.

Our church is active on more days of the week than just Sundays. We offer men and women’s retreats, interfaith services, theology discussions, book groups, and other activities.

Our members are also active in annual community events including Maple Fest in March, Ashfield’s Fall Festival in October, and Winter Fest in December.

Many volunteers from our church serve the community through Sharing Gifts (Christmas), Share the Warmth (winter months), hosting and volunteering at the Hilltown Churches Food Pantry (every two weeks), attending Pride parades (June), providing camp scholarships (summer). We also provide space for monthly Council on Aging luncheons.

Ashfield Churches Together is a partnership between our church and Ashfield’s other church, St. John’s Episcopal. We worship together once or twice a year, and we collaborate on Love in a Backpack (a program for women who are being released from the Franklin County and Chicopee jails), and Totes of Love, a project to deliver winter items to homeless men and women in Greenfield. The two ministers invite the other congregation to special services, and they sponsor a Spiritual Resources list on each church’s website.

Mission
We are a small group, striving to be open and accepting, sometimes disagreeing yet loving one another, wading through the joy and pain of spiritual growth, who pledge to worship God together, follow the example of Jesus, embody God's holy spirit, support our church family, and serve our neighbors near and far.
